Job Title: Human Resources Consultant (1099 Contract)
Job Description:
Clover Phoenix is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Consultant to join our team on a 1099 contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of HR knowledge, a passion for supporting diverse teams, and the ability to manage multiple HR functions. This role is critical in helping us maintain a positive, productive, and compliant workplace.
#### Key Responsibilities:
- **Employee Relations**: Act as a point of contact for employee concerns and questions, fostering a positive work environment.
- **Recruitment and Onboarding**: Assist in developing job descriptions, screening candidates, and conducting interviews. Manage the onboarding process to ensure new hires are integrated smoothly.
- **Compliance**: Ensure the company adheres to all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Update company policies as needed.
- **Performance Management**: Develop and implement performance management systems, including appraisals, feedback processes, and employee development programs.
- **Training and Development**: Identify training needs and coordinate training programs to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- **Compensation and Benefits**: Assist in the development and administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- **HR Strategy**: Work with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's goals and objectives.
#### Requirements:
- **Experience**: Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a consulting role.
- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. A master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is a plus.
- **Knowledge**: In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
- **Skills**: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- **Flexibility**: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- **Technology**: Proficiency with HRIS systems and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Workspace).
#### Compensation:
This is a 1099 contract position. Compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications. Specific terms will be discussed during the interview process.
