About the Role
Job Overview
The Security Supervisor at Clover Phoenix will serve as the primary liaison between our company and our clients. This role involves overseeing building safety and security programs, including security officer staffing and performance. The Security Supervisor motivates and develops staff by providing leadership and the necessary tools to perform their job duties. Additionally, this role supports the property management team and ensures contract compliance, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
Essential Functions
- **Supervise Daily Operations**: Oversee day-to-day security operations at assigned client sites.
- **Client Liaison**: Act as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring high-quality customer service and timely resolution of issues.
- **Emergency Response**: Temporarily perform security officer duties during emergencies.
- **Team Management**: Manage a team of security officers and site supervisors, including hiring, scheduling, training, and development.
- **Security Assurance**: Ensure client sites receive high-quality security services to protect people and property.
- **Client Communication**: Regularly meet with client representatives for updates, addressing any issues, and supporting security planning.
- **Relationship Building**: Build and maintain effective relationships with both clients and employees.
- **Support Coordination**: Coordinate necessary support services to meet operational goals and provide quality customer service.
- **Policy Adherence**: Follow all company policies and procedures.
Additional Responsibilities
- **Proactive Client Communication**: Take a proactive role in meeting client needs, listening to issues, and providing expert security solutions.
- **Reporting and Compliance**: Ensure all required reports and contract compliance requirements are met.
- **Issue Management**: Handle escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
- **Staff Development**: Communicate staffing needs, ensure coverage, and develop staff through performance management and training.
- **Policy Communication**: Ensure effective communication of policies and company announcements.
- **Training Coordination**: Coordinate and/or conduct site-specific training.
- **Policy Enforcement**: Enforce company policies as outlined in the handbooks.
Qualifications
- **Education**: Associate’s Degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of responsible experience in the security industry and/or business management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- **Skills**:
- Strong customer service and service delivery orientation.
- Ability to develop and grow customer relationships.
- Experience in hiring, developing, motivating, and retaining quality staff.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively at various social levels and across diverse cultures.
